About NMS Lodging

NANA Management Services, LLC (NMS) is owned by NANA Development Corporation, (the Kotzebue-based Alaska Native corporation, established by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of of 1971) and Sodexo USA. NMS was formed in 1974 to provide services for the Trans Alaska oil pipeline. For over a decade, NMS Lodging, a division of NMS, has been actively involved in managing hotels, from the beginning process of site location to the excitement of hotel opening and the daily operations of caring for guests.

NMS added hotel management to its service portfolio in 1997 with two Alaskan properties, the Anchorage Airport Courtyard by Marriott and the Nullagvik Hotel in Kotzebue. Since that time, our portfolio of managed properties has continued to grow with both independent and franchised properties, seasonal and year-round properties, and full and select service properties. Today, we are proud to serve not only our original business and intra-state travelers, but also tourists and independent travelers from throughout the world. Our guests are travelers from every walk-of-life – from seniors, to sports teams to eco-travelers.
